- The bible speaks of meditation on God's word. The Asian occult meditation speaks of emptying yourself and looking from within. Emptying yourself also invites demons to possess your body. Another attempt of New Age philosophy in Christian dress. Don't be deceived.
- I spent almost a third of my life in east asia and it amazed me when i came back to the US how most of that mess from over there, especially YOGA, is so widely done over here. I've been trying to warn people about Yoga , accupuncture, reiki, and a few other things I saw while over there, here in the US but very few listen. They say "Well, it's used for that or this over there but that's now how I use it". Sad

· - Some things have been added to Yoga since its been here in the US, but i would say with meditation and things of that nature that is where you can get caught up. Channeling is nothing more than meditaton. When you do that with something that has a Satanic background you are opening yourself up to demonic influence. So I wouldn't say paranoid, but informative. Take care.
- the thing that is so hard, is people dont know the roots of things. its so easy to get into stuff that you dont realize has roots in things you wouldnt want to mess with. ive done acupuncture for a really messed up shoulder, simply trying to fix a physical problem, so i have mixed feelings about things. it seemed to help as i thought it just relaxed certain muscle points of scar tissue. who knows...

· - The idea of calling it a discipline fighting art is what makes it satanic in the first place. Remember that having discipline means to have a sense of control over oneself. Self-control can only come from Jesus Christ. Fighting to gain control is definitely looked down upon by God who punishes Moses for doing something like that. Moses was not allowed to see the promised land because he physically struck the rock and didn't speak to it. Our battle is spiritual, against principalities and powers.
- What is wrong with martial arts or yoga? They may be derived in occultic practices but but whatever symbolic meanings they held is lost on people like me. It's just another workout activity. Why do I need to repent? I think you're getting a little paranoid here.
